Paying Your Sitter

Paying your Sitter…

You can pay your Sitter with good ol’ trusty cash or write a check. But thanks to technology, there are other ways to send and receive payment.

PayPal paypal iconis a great option that allows both Parents and Sitters to send and receive money. If you don’t already have an account, be sure to set one up.  From your Pay Pal account, you can send or request money via your computer or smartphone app. Payment is usually received within 3-5 days, but may be expedited depending on how your account is set up.

You can also choose to use Chase QuickPay. Only one person, either the Parent or Sitter, needs to have a Chase account. Payment is usually received in 3-5 business days.   And you guessed it, there’s an app for this as well!

So, if you choose to pre-pay your Sitter or want to give them a tip for a job well done, it can be as easy as a few clicks right from your computer or phone!

I am a student with a full course load and just wanted an occasional way to make some spending money. This was the safe and easy way to do that in a new state! I’m babysitting for a family that is also new to the area, so it was great for both of us!
